Why use Raised Line drawings?
Blind students must have opportunities to explore shapes, maps and other concepts of design in order to:

  • Produce simple maps,
  • Allow children to draw,
  • Practice handwriting,
  • Make graphs, and
  • Teach beginning tactual skills.
